Student RAD accounts can be activated at the Campus Card Office or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with your full legal name and RIN.
Deposits can be done by cash, check (payable to Rensselaer), credit or debit card (MasterCard or VISA) at the Campus Card Office or through our website.
When depositing online "DEPOSIT NOW" button; sign on using your RCS (Rensselaer e-mail) username and password. Click on "add money" then follow the prompts to complete the deposit (Minimum $25). Be sure to hit "submit" and complete the receipt informtion to have an email confimration sent to you and that will complete the deposit.
Use the My Accounts tab to verify your account is active, see all transactions, view reports, view balances, and make deposits to your RAD account by Visa or MasterCard.
Family and friends can also make Guest Deposits through our website using the “RAD Guest” tab, your Rensselaer e-mail address, and entering your name exactly as it appears on your Campus Access Card.
When making a RAD deposit at the Campus Card Office, please have your Campus Access Card and method of payment (cash, check, Visa or MasterCard)

- tax exempt (excludes items required to be taxable by NYS law)
- balance rolls over from year to year

Student RAD accounts are available only to registered students. Yearly closing at the end of June - balance automatically rolls over to new year. RAD funds are not transferrable. RAD funds are nonrefundable. RAD accounts are nonrefundable unless depositor leaves Rensselaer with a balance greater than $10.
